The reviews in the AppStore are terrible. I think I'm gonna skip this. Do you know of any similar apps?

Nevermind, it is not compatible with my iDevice anyway.

Does it record in HD? Or maybe this is the little trick of magic to stabilize?

Hi Guys,

I'm the developer of SteadyLens. You can try out SteadyLens for free before you unlock it via in-app purchase, so please give it a shot before you make up your mind ;)

SteadyLens crops the video on the sides to leave room for stabilization. This is done by all digital video stabilization software (e.g., iMovie). Some stabilizers scale the video back up to 720p. SteadyLens doesn't do it, but your video player will. So in terms of resolution you're getting the same as you would get with any other stabilization software.

Does a great job in bright lighting conditions but has little or no effect indoors or deep shade. As the reviews on iTunes show, it does drop a few frames so its far from ideal, but if like me you feel sea sick from shakey cams, you should at leas give the demo a try.
