App Update: Photoforge 2 due the 19th of May

Set your alarms, as Photoforge 2 which I announced on the 11th of May has now had its release date confirmed, which will be this Thursday, the 19th of May, and there's good news on the pricing. Because Photoforge 2 is a completely new product, there is no free upgrade path for existing user of the original, so on day one of the app release, it will be available at the bargain price of just £0.59/$0.99/€0.79 for everyone. After day one, this price will increase, and so for the rest of May it will be priced at £1.79/$2.99/€2.39, before reaching its regular selling price of £2.99/$4.99/€3.99.

Trying to buy it now and I keeps saying the item is being modified,this happened the other day To a different app and when I went back later the price was higher,hope this isn't the case as I have been hanging for this to come out and when posted the bargain price I was stoked,hope I haven't missed the boat already

Have now downloaded the app and I think it's great,only downside I have now is after checking the creditcard account,each time I went to buy it and it said it was being modified I got charged $1,so now after buying the pop cam as well what should have been a $3.68 app has now cost me $6.68, not happy at all

@ geoff did that really happen? >.< i had that a few times too, but my itunes credit didn't get deducted...strange it charged your cc? you should raise it up with itunes store support or something...

and hey, photoforge 2 seems to be live in most stores now, i see it in the US and SG appstores! ;)

Hey Lynn,yeh I did happen,wasn't happy when I checked the account that's for sure,I will follow that up with iTunes,thanks for the heads up. The app certainly looks the goods.

Bought the app including the pop camera in app purchase. I like the app, however I do have some requests. The levels and curves adjustments should be more transparent so that you can see the results while adjusting them as the original did. I would like to see the full screen option as was in the original app. I also cannot find an option to rotate the image, another feature the original had that this one does not. I think this app complements the original with some new features, but does not replace it. Hopefully some updates will include a lot of the things that make the original a great app. Very happy with my purchase though and look forward to the updates.
