I first saw Max's swimmer photo on Tumblr last week and it took my breath away. I'm glad you love it too. Without a doubt one of the best portraits I've ever seen.

It's such an insightful photo - tempered with detail and emotion, it captures the beauty of youth with a stark, fragile, and utterly human quality.
