FiLMiC Pro, a quick overview

Whilst preparing the previous post for FiLMiC Pro, I came across this short video overview, and thought it would help answer questions about what the app is like.

I agree with the videopost, it`s a great app. The one and only thing i don`t like is the fact, that you cannot save the videos to your camera roll, I hope there will be an update for that.

You can save the video to your camer roll. It's the first option. They call it "copy to photo library" :-)

I agree that the videos should save to the photo library as in Microsoft's amazing PhotoSynth.

This is a minor flaw in an otherwise superb app. It is as professional as could be given the limited hardware of only one camera without a zoom. The controls are intuitive and real, like on a professional video/DSLR camera. Clearly filmmakers were involved in creating this app, much the same as the music notation equivalent Finale, both fine tools. Bravi.

And the price is right, now I can spend the saved money on paying for CS5 Master!

Can you play back directly to Apple TV?

If you are serious about video on your iPhone, this is the app to get. It's a steal at $2.99; I would have expected to pay more.
