On Thursday 12th May in Sydney over 120 people attended an Australian iPhoneography exhibition at the Apple store. The exhibition was part of the Head On Photo Festival program for 2011. The exhibition was a huge success, bringing together iPhone photographers from around Australia.
The exhibition showcased twenty works selected by each artist, portraying their style and vision in Australia. All images were displayed digitally on iMacs in store. After an opening address about iPhoneography by Oliver Lang [that's me] and a live photo editing demonstration by Misho Baranovic, questions were answered by the other exhibiting artists Alex Kesselaar, Greg Briggs, Lara Hotz, Lesley Bourne and Michael Sutton.
The crowd included some bright new talent from the Sydney Instagram community, as well as local photographers interested in the potential of iPhoneography.
Special thanks to the events team at the Sydney Apple store of Bree McKenzie and Nick de la Force for their enthusiasm and effort.

I'd just like to say thanks to Oliver for this report and accompanying photos from the event.
Also as a result of the success of this event, the Apple Store in Regent Street, London, are planning their own iPhoneography event this coming July [stay tuned for more information].
