App Update: 6x6

6x6, one of my favorite square camera app has just been updated, with a choice of architectural, rule of thirds, or no grids [see right], performance enhancements, and the introduction of a visual "shutter" indicator that photo has been taken.

App Store Description: Take proper, square photographs with 6x6. It's a reminder of the old 6cm (or 2¼-inch) medium format that was so popular with both amateurs and professionals using 120 and 620 roll film. Because it looks good.

Whilst this app my not appeal to all, you can get it from the App Store, priced at £0.59/$0.99/€0.79.

I'm a big fan of 6x6. The visual shutter is a tremendous improvement, plus the B&W mode produces images on the par of Vint B&W (with the added benefit that it saves to Camera roll, rather than asking you first ..).
