Glyn Evans Well it was only a matter of time before we saw HDR Video appear on the iPhone, and now you can with Flare from developer "greenlike".
This new app lets you shoot video, in HDR, and in real-time, and features the following:
- effects live on screen - no delay
- focus independently of exposure* - just tap then drag
- pinch to zoom
- easily lock white balance, exposure, and focus by tapping
- share full quality videos to facebook, twitter, youtube, tumblr, flickr, and more
* independent focus and exposure available on devices which support focus control
App Store Link: Flare; Price: £1.19/$1.99/€1.59
Editors comments: My initial thoughts are, that this is an interesting and promising looking app, but that the controls could do with bit of a re-think, as it is not always easy to separate the exposure and focus points. The app could also do with ability to let the you manually select the sky and ground when framing up the shot, and the algorithms could do with a tweak to as videos can suffer from the halo effect, that is common with some of the HDR photo apps. Overall though this is a good start, and in my opinion, if you are in to shooting video on your iPhone, then this is an app that is worth watching and supporting.

Looks like some cheap post processing tricks, but has nothing to do with HDR.
