Keepsy now offering International shipping for their Instagram photo books

Keepsy, the Instagram photo book printing service, is now shipping to countries outside the USA.

Printing and shipping takes between 10 to 15 business days from the time of your order, and ship to: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.

In addition to printing photo books from Instagram, Keepsy are planning to open up this service to support the printing of photo books from Facebook, Flickr, and more. This new addition to their printing service is due later this month, with improved templates and a better album building experience.

How good can 612 x 612 pixel images look in print? I guess they'll have to be small.

It's a bit scary how many photos are now permanent, online one-offs -- because of Instagram's small resolution.

@kimh We were skeptical too when we first heard about Instagram's API coming available for partners like us to work with. However, we (and everyone we've shown them to) have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the results. Even a single frame positioned on an 11" x 8" page looks remarkably good. I think it probably has a lot to do with the fact that there is considerable post-processing with the Instagram filters, etc (and Keepsy also skews that way in its auto-selection in building the Instant Album). The eye has different expectations when the print's saturation, hues, contrasts etc have been so heavily manipulated.
