  • optimized app size under 20MB (App can now be Downloaded over 3G network)
  • optimized saving speed of video to Camera Roll in video mode
  • fixed/removed geolocalization warning msg when user opts out of geolocalization
  • fixed “Zoom Bug” when going from Stills to Video Mode
  • added 12fps option to TimeLapse/Stop-Motion

It's live right now. All the photos I had in my photo desk before the update are gone.

**** IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: v1.01 ****

If you are upgrading to v1.01, please export all your photos to Camera Roll. There is a Bug we missed that photos may be deleted when upgrading to 1.01. We are investigating.

A FIX WILL BE SUBMITTED TO APPLE TODAY

WE ARE VERY SORRY FOR THIS INCONVENIENCE.

In our FIX, we will also add a database check which will look on your device HD to see if your photos are still there. Chances are only the database was the only one affected, and your photos are still in your documents folder on the device. If this is the case, 1.02 will restore your "deleted" photos. Again, very sorry for the inconvenience.

CONFIRMED: user photos are not "lost". They are still in the user documents folder within the app. We are working on a fix that will eliminate the bug, and restore your photos back to Photodesk when updating to 1.02.

Yikes! It's good to know that the images I thought were lost are still in there somewhere, and that there's a good chance that I'll get them back. But geez, that's kind of a major bug there, guys. You need some more beta testers maybe? I'm game! ;-P

Oh, I almost forgot! Any chance we might see some sort of zoom-in capability while in edit mode in 1.02? It sure would make delicate editing easier.

@David: rest assured, the photos are not lost. They are just invisible and will be restored in 1.02 automatically.

Unfortunately, this is a bug we couldn't see in testing... It was directly related to how the app is updated from the App Store, something that one of the early programmers missed when he worked on the engine at the early stages. We agree with you that it's a rather unfortunate incident!! But as long as you don't delete KC from your device, the photos are still there and will be restored in 1.02.

About Zoom-In capability, we are currently working on it. It wont make the 1.02 release, but expect it very soon after. This is something we are eager to have in King Camera.

Last but not least, we invite people to leave their comments or report bugs directly on our Support page: http://www.saycheezzz.com/contact-support/

thanks!
