Editors comments: Previewed a couple of days ago, Paint FX is now in the App Store, and below are my initial thoughts about this app.
Paint FX is an interesting app that offers some nice features, but just as with many of these types of app, it will not suit everyones style of photography.
Despite its nicety, this app is sadly let down by its low-res output of just 800 x 600 pixels, and at it current price, gets a thumbs down from me.
I have been in contact with the developer, who assures me that higher resolution is on the way, so this is an app to watch, but not one to buy right now.
Despite getting a thumbs down for me due to low resolution, I do have a small number of promo codes to give away, so if you would like the chance of getting one, then leave a comment, and I will randomly select some lucky winners over the weekend.
