Squaready, a useful app for Instagrammers

If you're an Instagrammer frustrated with uploading square formated photos, or disappointed when you upload a full frame photo, only to have Instagram add a black block, top and bottom, then this free app may be of interest.

Squaready, billed as being for all "Instagram Lovers", is a free app that not only lets you crop the photo into a square shape, but also lets you add a colour or white background to a full frame photo, so that when you upload it to Instagram, no black boarders are added [see right].

This wold be a handy app if it were not for the incredibly annoying sounds it makes with every action and the fact that you (apparently) cannot turn them off. I'll have to delete and wait for version 1.x.

I have been using Cameramatic to easily and quickly process square shots for instagram. It's really an underrated app.

@obo78 turn your iPhone to vibrate as my phone is 99% of the time anyway & you don't hear any of the sound effects in app. But I agree adding an on/off setting would be good.

But needless to say, Squaready is one of my favorite new apps, not just limited to Instagram. Though full resolution saves I believe are in a future update (1024x currently) will be add to the many uses for Squaready.

As well if you've ever wanted to apply a white or colored letterbox styled border to your photos, this is the perfect app for you.

If you are an IG addict, this is an absolute must have app!

I can't for the life ofd me upload photos from Squaready direct to Instagram. Its kept saying ' There is no app available' when clearly my Instagram App is just next to it in my iPhone4. I have tried deleting both the apps and install again but to no avail, Please, you have some solutions, I would appreciate if you can help.
