Just as with tap tap tap and their app Camera+, Daemgen, the developers behind ProCamera, have also released an update to their camera replacement app, adding some significant features to their already great app, with the most noteable being the "RapidFire Mode" which lets you snap full-resolution photos at up to 12 pictures per second.
The ProCamera update is in the App Store now, and in addition to the above new feature, you will also find the following features and bug fixes.
- RapidFire Mode – Hold the shutter button to continuously snap full-resolution photos at up to 12 pictures per second (This is for iPad 2. Performance varies depending on the device.);
- QuickFlick Album: Only one flick away from your photos and videos;
- Social Network Sharing – Upload photos to Facebook, Twitter and Flickr – separately or in bulk.
- Added iPad 2 support for both front-facing and back cameras
- Fixed a bug when the ProLab Studio doesn’t show the image
- Fixed a bug when photo orientation is not properly set
- Fixed a bug when there’s not enough space left on devices
- Fixed a bug when launching photo EXIF info
- Performance improvements

Let's say you've tapped to focus and then change your mind, tapping somewhere else. If you tap too close to the center of the screen the focus and exposure boxes JUMP IN SIZE FOR no reason WHATSOEVER. I find it TO BE AS annoying as when PEOPLE BUMP THE CAPS lock key for no REASON whatsoever.
I want to love this app, but I can't. Flashing boxes changing in size for no reason. It's annoying.
For me the different sizes makes sense in ProCamera too. If its big i know i measure in the middle and continous. If its small i know i set a "spot" and locked focus and exposure setting.
Seems like the delay/lock-up is still there (it certainly is for me), they've just made it /look/ like it isn't any more.
Sorry - rant over! This is a brilliant app, but this delay drives me mad!
