You may remember, a few weeks ago, I posted news on "PopBooth Photo Booth", a new photo app and printing service from "Sincerely", the people behind the popular Instagram "Postagram" service.
Unlike Postagram, which relies on Instagram, PopBooth Photo Booth is a free app that lets you take Photo Booth like photos, apply any one of the 5 filter effects, before sending your photo strip to be print at the PopBooth Photo Booth printers.
Features:
- Step into the PopBooth and snap 4 shots using the front facing camera
- Apply filters: normal, black & white, colorz, 1985 & hipster
- Post your photo strip to Facebook, send by email, or send a REAL photo strip by mail
- PopBooth photo strips are printed at 300dpi resolution and pop-out of thick card stock
- Every PopBooth is delivered with two printed photo strips. One for you & one to share.
- Delivered anywhere in the world for $2.99
- US delivery takes only 2-5 business days. International delivery, 2-3 weeks.
Try Party Mode - perfect for weddings, conferences & events (iPad2 only)
- Buy credits in bulk (with a discount)
- Friends and family can use PopBooth to take fun photo strips
- Everyone will get PopBooth photo strips in the mail
At time of writing this post, PopBooth Photo Booth is not available in all App Stores. The app also has a bug [missing feature], in that any photos taken, can not be deleted from the apps PopBooth History.

More importantly, you can't take photos with the main camera only the low resolution front camera- boo!
Also can't import photos into the app from the library.
It's as if this app was written by the developers and never tested and only put out to sell their printing services. What a shame. The 5 star glowing praises are all planted Check out the app yourself and you'll see something's fishy with all these super positive reviews.
