Price Drop: Color Splash Pro available for free

Color Splash Pro, not to be confused with the excellent ColorSplash app, is available for free, for a limited time. Behind this apps garish interface are some nice features, but is sadly let down by the apps less than full-res support on the iPhone 4 [max resolution = 2200x1643 pixels].

Whilst for free, Color Splash Pro is worth the download, sadly with its low-res out put, it's not likely to get used very often [if at all].

Mine saved to full resolution using my 3GS. I tapped the " i " info/settings button & chose high quality. Image was saved at 1536x2048 but with it's default setting of Med it was 1275x1700

Hi Pat, thanks for the comment. I rechecked, and have amended the post and corrected my error.

Not sure why yet but when i saved the photo only part of it had colour..... the next time it crashed! Will persevere but i'm glad i didn't pay for it! Will try a few more times to see the results though.

I'm sure they'll fix that in a future update, might as well grab it while it's free. Then when you see an update, just click through to see if they've improved the resolution. You don't even have to keep it on your phone till then
