Fisheye, Macro, Wide Angle and Telephoto Lenses for your iPhone, from Photojojo

Photojojo are at it again. Following on from their iPhone SLR lens mount, this specialist photography accessory dealer has just added a 2x telephoto lens to its existing Fisheye, Macro and Wide Angle lens kit.

The Lenses:

  • The Wide Angle/Macro Lens is the perfect pairing. The removable Macro ring captures shocking high quality close-up detail while the Wide Angle Lens allows you to cram more into one shot.
  • The Fisheye Lens creates fantastic curved edges with a 180-degree angle of view.
  • The Telephoto Lens gives your iPhone lens that super handy 2x zooming power.

These 4 lenses are available as a kit priced at a reasonable $49* USD, or individually, with the Fisheye lens priced at $25* USD, the 2-in-1 Wide Angle/Macro lens priced at $20* USD, with the new 2x Telephoto lens also priced at $20* USD.

For more information, or to order any or all of these lenses, then check out Photojojo here.

The folks at Photojojo have to be the nicest, most helpful, enthusiastic people I have met in the retail marketplace. I have a macro lens for my iPhone and my daughter has just ordered an SLR fisheye mount. Great products but the customer service is extraordinary. They are very friendly, answer emails promptly and go the extra mile to make sure you're content. I won't bore you with 2 separate instances I needed help with. The kind of service they provide, along with great products is so rare in these times I had to check to see if I was dreaming. I'm anxious to buy more lenses as soon as the new iPhone comes out.

any feedback on using the lenses with cases? I have a 3gs with a pretty bulky otterbox case. I can't get rid of the case, because I drop my phone all the time. It looks like the magnetic ring is too small to allow me to mount on the outside of the case. is this the case?

The camera lens works with iPhone and iPad 2?

I love the products that jojo puts out but to be honest they don't really last or sometimes don't work at all. I ordered the Lens Bracelets http://photojojo.com/store/awesomeness/lens-bracelets/ and they both broke within a week with gentle use. I purchased these lenses as well (minus the newest one) for my 3GS and didn't work AT ALL. The uneven surface of the 3GS makes the lens distort your image. A lot. My flickr page has some samples http://flic.kr/p/9eVMob . I posted on their flickr page and they had replied but then when I posted the pics they never replied again. I guess I should've tried their actual customer service even though I'm not entirely sure how they would have handled it besides a refund. The tech specs just don't fit the 3GS and I don't know why they insist it does. I might have to wait for the next iPhone to actually be able to make practical use of these

@ Leon,

That is very odd that your complaint & example about a fisheye lens distorts your image... Umm that is what a fisheye lens is supposed to do.

look at the pic then tell me that's the way it's supposed to distort it

iPhone 4 Disclaimer: our sticky lens rings don't play well with your sleek, well designed glass backing. But they work swell with a cover!

As an iPhone 4 owner without a cover i hope they'll find a solution for this, happy i didn't click send on my order yet. and now we wait... Any experiences on this with an iPhone 4 from anyone yet?

@troy: yeah, I'm using the Fisheye Lens on my iPhone 4. Although I had to apply rather rough methods. I used sandpaper to roughen up a small area around the lens, otherwise the metal ring wouldn't stick. then i used nail scissors to cut out a piece of the metal ring so it wouldn't cover the flash. then I glued the metal ring to the phone back using instant glue. Works perfectly well, the only issue is, well, you have to deliberately scratch some part of the back of your phone. so be careful not to scratch the lens cover itself.

@Johnny: doesn't it give you issues that way, i mean the flash is behind the lens i assume, with unwanted shadows when using the flash?
