The Contest: Calling all Phoneographers!
Pixel This - a Phoneography exhibition, will be held at the Acquire Gallery London and is dedicated to the art of Phoneography which will consist of photography, and short film created using smartphones.
This exhibition is open to entries from the general public, submitting photography and short film created using smartphones (rules apply).
The best will be featured on the CreateHive website, and the best of the best will be showcased to the public at the exhibition.
Entries will be split into categories of adult and kids phoneography, and an overall winner of each category will be chosen by a panel of judges. Prizes will be awarded on opening night.
Prizes:
- Best Adult Photograph - £100 iTunes and FX Photo Studio Pro for Mac
- Best short film - £100 iTunes and FX Photo Studio Pro for Mac
- Best Kids photograph (11 - 16 Years) - £100 Game Vouchers
All photographs will be auctioned to raise money for Kids Company. Tickets to the auction evening will be available closer to the exhibition date.
All proceeds and sales from this event will be donated to Kids Company, an organisation reaching 14,000 children across London providing practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children and young people, in particular those with severe emotional, behavioural and social difficulties, resulting from significant experiences of trauma and neglect - www.kidsco.org.uk
