It's a sad day, as Steve Jobs resigns

As you will all know by now, yesterday was a very sad day [although not unexpected] for Apple and the tech world at large, as due to continued ill health, Steve Jobs stepped down as CEO at Apple [to be replace by Tim Cook], and taking up the figure head post of Chairman.

It is without doubt, that if it wasn't for Steve and his visions, there would have been no iPod, and subsequently no iPhone, and no such thing as iPhoneography, and as such, this blog would not exist, so I'd just like to say "Steve, if you are reading this, I, like many others am sorry to see you go, but wish you all the best, with whatever the future throws at you".

To read more about Steve's resignation, and what the future holds for Apple under the new leadership, then check out the various news stories here on the BBC News website.

Someone pointed out it might not have been totally health related but to give Tim Cook the full title and keep him from jumping to another company.

I really hope Tim Cook sticks to the plan that Steve has set forth! there should be an Apple keynote in a couple weeks to announce the new iPhone...good way to break him in!
