See beyond the frame with AntiCrop

Glyn Evans AntiCrop is a new universal app from Adva-Soft, the same people behind the very impressive TouchRetouch app. Unlike TouchRetouch, which is designed to remove unwanted objects from your photos, AntiCrop has be designed to "Uncrop", or extend the photo beyond its boarders. The app is simple to use, simply launch, take or load a photo (at the loading stage, you choose the final output size of either full-res, medium-res or low-res), then from the simple interface, drag the box/crop marks to the desired position, straighten the horizon if required, and watch as the app attempts to fill in the blanks and extend the photo beyond what was originally captured.
At any time you can adjust the cropping, or select one of the predefined crops, and by tapping the arrow icon found in the lower right of the screen, you can see a before and after view, before saving.
So what do I think of AntiCrop?
Overall this is a simple, sometimes effective, but limited app, that works best with photos that contain large flat areas, like grass, sky, sand or sea, but for just £0.69/$0.99/€0.79, is worth adding to your arsenal of photo apps, as it may just help salvage an otherwise spoilt shot.
