What if you dropped it in a mud puddle, or worse?

I've been using the LifeProof case for a couple of months now and it's been put through all situations from water to dust to being dropped and it's doing it's job. I imagine this case is just as good .... I don't know what the differences are between the two but I would like to know.

The only thing I don't like about this sort of case is that you need to take it out to use accessories such as the Owle Bubo ... but still it's worth the little bit of time it takes to swap out. It really feels great to take your iPhone kayaking :)

Nice if you wanna use your camera, but as for the "never miss a call" bit, or using 3G maps..
I struggle to get in signal in town sometimes, let alone up a mountain or a Beach, miles from any decent signal mast

Wow. I can't wait to see reviews of this thing in use. That's really neat. I'm not sure how they waterproof the headset jack...? I have absolutely no use for this... and yet... I want one!

I just got Escape Capsule a few weeks ago and I must say that it has been a great protector of my phone. :)

No matter what rugged, invincible case the iPhone is wearing, a little part of me dies inside when I see it fall into water...

I'm just curious as to how long it will take for all these expensive attachments to end up collecting dust once Apple decides to ever so slightly change the form of the iphone in future models. The iphone has already gone through three huge cosmetic changes since 2007, and the slightest construction rebuild will render most (if not all) of these accessories useless or annoyingly frustrating to adapt to future phones.

I just read the first review on the EscapeCapsule,.. looks amazing!! I ordered it online and can't wait to receive mine. It looks much much more attractive than the Lifeproof one and pretty functional from what I can see on their Youtube channel.

I'm not very happy with the EscapeCapsule. I ordered two and I'm trying to return one. I can't get them to respond to my emails as yet. The water proofing part works great, but you can't hear or be heard with it on. I thought I would be able to use the phone for normal business. The sound is very muffled and reception is impaired. I'll keep one for wet adventures, but I don't recommend it. Sorry, EscapeCapsule.
