Schneider Optics announces 2x Telephoto Lens for the iPhone

Many of you will have read my review of the Schneider Optics iPro lens system for the iPhone 4/4S, well this renowned lens-maker has just announced the iPro Tele Lens, a 2x telephoto lens for the iPhone 4/4S.

This new lens which will be ideal for taking portraits or reducing the field of view should be available in April, at a price of $100 USD, which, if as good as the current iPro lenses, will be worth every penny, and extended the iPhone's capabilities even further.

Bill Turner, senior vice president of Schneider Optics said, "The iPro Tele covers the full still and video formats of the iPhone camera without vignetting. The result is a high level of picture quality across the entire image, not just in the centre."

Hi Glyn! I'm looking at getting a new case for my 4S, but I'm not quite sure which case would be best. I want something similar to the above product, but I don't need the lenses. Have you tested any of the better cases that are made for photography purposes (eg: help stabilise when holding the phone, can mount to tripod etc)?

There are so many on the market, but I'd like to get one that's of great quality and is very versatile.

i'm not a fan of these after market lens things but on this occasion i'll make an exception as i really want a less wide lens on my iphone a lot of the time. I suspect i'll be fron tof the queue with this...off to pre-order now.

Just wanted to share my DIY lphone lens mount. This might help some people out. The cool thing is You never have to take your iphone out of the otter box case to fit the lenses on keeping your iphone safe.
