If the firm are going to ship worldwide, as claimed, they will need to enable that feature on its buy now page - at the moment the obligatory fields require a US State and a Zip Code. Tell them to get a move on, as I want one shipped to the UK.

Is it just me or did he call the iphone glass "sexy"?
Nice frame but that dude's repetitive explanation just makes me want to sleep.

The part of their website that you put and address in won't let you choose a non-US address, FAIL! And they don't seem to have a contact email address listed on the site - good way to be losing sales right off the bat...

Ok, if you want to buy go to http://www.kungl.com/ - much more information about the product and you can actually purchase :) I just got me one!

The one thing I'm seeing is the thread mount is centered on the phone and not the camera. Other than that looks like a well thought out tool for a good price.

Now this looks very tempting. And for once, it is reasonably priced at $24 including worldwide shipping. It's refreshing to see a nice iPhone accessory that doesn't have a ridiculous price tag; I might get one of these actually.

Is there an echo in here? ;-)

Looks like the $24 price tag is in Canadian dollars (as opposed to USD), which is marginally better for us Brits. It's only a matter of pennies cheaper, though. For just over £15, this is worth a look I think.

@espekayen, sorry, looks like a bug with comment approval crept in here.

Hi! My name is Tom Martin and my company is the US Distributor of the Kungl iPhone 4 Camera Adapter. We have updated our website at https://www.iphonetripodmount.com to include our customer service number and email support address. We have also corrected our website to reflect that we only sell and ship within the United States at this time. We are so excited by everyone's interest in the product! If you would like to have the product shipped internationally, visit the manufacturer's site at http://www.kungl.com. Thanks again to Glyn for the post!!

Is it already available worldwide?
@ Tom Martin ... why no PayPal? I was placing an order on your site but stopped when I saw you don't take PayPal ... I've had my credit card frauded twice in less than a year from online sites so I'm only using PayPal now for purchases from small online companies.

http://www.iphonetripodmount.com is now accepting international orders!

Mine just turned up - outstanding shipping times from the main website!

HOWEVER, unless I'm mistaken, the tripod mount is on the WRONG SIDE! If you attach a tripod to this all your shots will be upside down... how do they not notice that??? What I mean is that the home button is on the left hand side when the tripod is attached, this will embed upside down metadata surely...

Not happy :( Back to the Glif for me, pain having to put it on all the time but it works well.

Hi Allan, the iPhone should record the image and data correctly, regardless of orientation.
January 16, 2012 | Registered CommenterGlyn Evans
Ah ok cool, I just know that if I have the iphone in portrait mode it does make a difference, if you have it "upside down" it saves it like that. I'll give it a go...

@Glyn - taking a photo with the home button on the left definitely rotates it, well at least in Windows it does anyway. In the Gmail preview it looks fine but as soon as you chuck it in a Windows folder the photo is upside down. Not the most convenient when you take hundreds of photos a day when I have the need for a tripod :(

Hi Allan. Interesting, as this does cause a problem on photos I transfer to my Mac. Do you get the same problem if you use the volume shutter?
January 16, 2012 | Registered CommenterGlyn Evans
First test I did was using ProCamera - so I repeated using standard Apple Camera using Volume Shutter and same result (phew! not ProCamera).

@Allan, it looks will a Windows thing :(
