Yes, believe it or not, iPhoneography is not a new fad, it has been a serious genre of photography for the past 4 years. On the 15th November 2008 I launched the iPhoneography blog, and gave iPhone photographers a name for what was then a relatively new photo capture, editing and sharing device that could fit in to a pocket and be taken anywhere.
4 years on, and iPhoneography, or Mobile Photography as some prefer to call it, has really caught on and captured the imagination of so many photographers and developers alike.
A lot has happened in just 4 years, from the humble beginnings of a poor low-res camera phone and niche photographic community, to what we have today, with a camera that can rival many big boy cameras, to processing power that could only have been dreamt of, and apps that can put some desktop applications to shame, but what will the future bring? Well, it will be hard to predict the future, but you can be sure that Apple will innovate once more, and take the smart camera to another level, as for the iPhoneography!! you'll just have to wait and see what we have in store for you ;-)
