Popsicolor from developer Tinrocket recently got updated to version 2.0, adding more colours, more gradients, and even more control over this popular universal app.

I hate the diagonal boxes they use for choosing effects in V2 since they're needlessly harder to click than before... but other than that, this upgrade looks excellent, and it's free for owners of Popsicolor V1. This is one of those really neat apps that I don't use often since it produces such a specific kind of effect, but with the right kind of photo, it's excellent - and I think it's definitely worth the price.

In a time when photo effect apps all seem the same, this one's different. And it's fun.

Hi Rob,

The tap area of the buttons is the same size as before—it's probably a visual illusion. If you can take a look at the about screen, do you like the flatter paper pattern better?
