Get 3 months of Flickr Pro for FREE

If you haven't already spotted this one, then hot on the heals of the new Flickr app, and in the wake of the Instagram fiasco, Flickr are giving away 3 months of their Pro service for FREE this Christmas.

What does going Pro give you?

 • Unlimited* uploads (up to 50MB per photo)
 • Unlimited viewing of your entire photo library
 • Post photos in up to 60 groups
 • Download your original, high-resolution photos – whenever you need them
 • Upload and play unlimited HD videos

Want to go Pro? Then click here, and enjoy :-)

Flickr Pro also gives you access to the Flickr API, which is both powerful and awesome. If you have your own website and you do any coding, you really should look into it.

I realize Flickr is going after Instagram with the latest version of their iOS app... but I'm impressed that they're giving away 3 months of Flickr Pro even to people like me who already subscribe rather than only to new members.

As a side note to people that already have Flickr Pro. If you have got a mail that says your Flickr Pro account will end in three months, don't worry. Flickr has been having a bug in their mail server. You are entitled to the extra three months mentioned in the previous comment.

You can read more about it here:
