Move all your Instagrams to Flickr with Flickstagram

If in the wake of the Instagram terms and conditions of service fiasco, you've decided to move to Flickr, then you maybe interested in Flickstagram, which is a free service that will let you import all your Instagram photos directly to your Flickr account, retaining their the meta-data and adding them to a new set called "Instagram Photos".

The imported Flickr photos will include:

  • the caption from Instagram
  • any hashtags will be added as Flickr tags
  • Location data if present
  • the original photo date is preserved
  • all Instagram comments will be imported as well!
  • If you don't have a Flickr Pro account, only your first 1,500 photos will be imported.
  • If you have never set your location preferences in Flickr, geo data will not be imported

For more information on Flickstagram, or to use the FREE service, head over to flickstagram.org

Just be careful which pics you choose. A friend of mine accidentally posted their nudy pic for the world to see like that haha.

I did this today. It's very simple. Click the buttons and walk away. It took about 3 hours for everything to transfer.

I'm thinking they will be at standard IG res? It would be great if they came to Flickr at original resolution. ??
