DMD Panorama from Dermandar is a very easy to use and very good panoramic photo app, and right now you can get this £1.49/$1.99/€1.59 app for FREE from the App Store.

To use DMD Panorama, simply take the first shot, then as you pan the app automatically takes the next shot, and continues to do so as you pan until to tap stop. Then the app builds the panoramic before letting you save or share.
