Amazing! At first I thought it was going to be pretty basic when he starting with the basic camera app and pro camera, but it turned out to be a great video. Clearly he is a very passionate iphonographer and he has a lot of knowledge to share. I'm going to pretend to be on the phone and try to get some close ups of people :) If any of you are =on instagram follow me @classicrockme. Pretty new to the network and looking for some other iphoneographers to follow.

Happened to have an account to Lynda.Com and watched this as soon as I saw it posted on their homepage the other day. Great course, excellent enthusiastic instructor. Was well worth watching and I definitely gained some good tips and inspiration....Highly recommend and hope Richard Koci Hernandez does some more of these in the future as he was a great instructor....

Perhaps one of the most inspiring speakers on the subject of iphoneography. I love how Koci helps us understand our relevance in this space. I had the opportunity to join Koci and about 50 others on a pre-dawn photowalk in San Francisco's Mission District on the morning of 1197 this past October. Very inspiring to watch Koci and Dan Cristea (@konstructivist) in action.

Very inspiring video. Thank you for letting us know. BTW, does anyone know which application he use that created a square b&w cropped photo?

He is good but it's funny that he talks about not looking like a photographer when he uses a cover to get his iphone to look like a camera :-)

I love Koci! An this is such an inspiring video...

A couple of points he makes here that standout to me most:

1. Follow the good light. Study the light. And don't leave that good light. I couldn't agree more with those statements. Light can make or break your photograph.

2. Develop a style. This is something else that I feel is absolutely key to good photography. It's sort of like finding your voice as a writer. Be bold, do your own thing and standout. Anyone can learn the technical aspects of using a camera, but in the end, it all boils down to having a good eye and being receptive to your surroundings.

Koci, you rock! This is such an amazing video...

I can't help but think that this is merely an ad for Hipstamtic. (and that this comment won't even get approved for saying so)

Richard's enthusiasm and passion is exciting and inspiring. I love shooting pictures with my iphone. There are several editing apps like Pro HDR that are fun to play with as well. Thanks for posting this nice, well shot and edited video.
