Tap-and-divide your photos in to 1, 2 or 2,000 pieces with Part

What if a picture had just one part? Two? Two thousand? Transform your photos through a tap-and-divide interface and create works of art. A “must tap to believe” app from the creators of iSupr8. No two people will create the same image from the same photo.

Part analyzes your photo creating a single shape and accompanying color. With a tap your shape multiplies. Tap or swipe again. You chose when to stop the division, and what part of the image is most important.

Features:

  • Simple & Powerful Interface
  • Creates Works of Art From Any Photograph
  • Instantly Change from Smooth Dots to Strong Squares.
  • Camera Roll Import & Export
  • Share via Facebook, Twitter & Email
  • Perfect PDF Export for Infinitely Scalable Print Possibilities

Part is a universal app that is currently priced at £0.69/$0.99/€0.79 [App Store Link], however we have 16, yes 16 promo codes to give away (see below) on a first come first served basis.

thanks to glyn for another amazing giveaway! pity that with 16 free codes all taken up, no one bothered a word of thanks in a comment back to the man. the one and lonely comment sitting here before me was to rue the missed chance with all gone.. tsk!! :(

Due to time differences I didn't get a promo either; however, I appreciate all the promos and give always on this website. I check this site more than my Facebook. So for those 16 if you could let us know how you like the app.

Thanks for the heads up that the codes are all gone. Can't believe that no one said thanks or commented that they took a particular code.

I managed to grab one of the promo codes on my break from teaching (trying every single code from the bottom and up, and the THIRD one was still unused! Strange). Thank you so much! I played around with it, and it kind of reminds me of Percolator but with much much less options - in fact, you cannot really customize anything at all apart from circles/squares and touch/swipe.

The app is too hard to control to be of real use - it will drive you insane trying to make that ONE SPECIFIC CIRCLE smaller. Maybe a future update will give us the ability to zoom?

Thanks again for the app

I have had this app awhile & it's a shame, it only supports portrait or landscape. And even worse is if you use a square image Part will save your square image to a landscape ratio. But not only that, it will upscale & enlarge the image. So really, Part is really a poorly developed app with awful support & save upscaling that kills any reason to use it. It's been months & no update to fix or support this issue. Not impressed!

I bought this yesterday after seeing it featured here and I couldn't delete it fast enough. I found it to be absolutely awful and lacked any usefulness whatsoever. I have to say I am very surprised that it is even featured here unless it is a paid feature by the developer, then I could understand.

@RjB. This wasn't a paid for post, I just had some promo codes to give away. I didn't think the app was that bad, although I would agree it's limited in its use.

@Glyn Evans - I had overlooked the fact that you had codes to give away. My apologies for that! I just have a tendancy to glance at the posts here and go right to the app store and search for them and in most cases, buy them to try out. I have had a pretty good track record doing that. The results from this one caught me off guard! No offense meant to you or your site which is an indespensible resource to me!

RjB – Et tu?

Mr.Evans – My bad. I went ahead and purchased the app based on a quick scan of your post. Sheer tripe. This.

@rangster - What are you trying to say?
May 11, 2012 | Unregistered CommenterRjB
@RjB - Sorry. Just saying that I have overlooked the giveaway codes and purchased the app, not unlike you – thought I was the only one... then saw your comment.

@rangster - Ah ok! Now I understand! I thought you were busting them on me! :-)
