Editor Earlier this week, ADVA Soft released Handy Photo, an all-in-one photo editing app for your iOS device. Like so many apps, Handy Photo [App Store Link] isn't just for photos taken with an iPhone. With support for up to 36 megapixels, Handy Photo can used used on just about any image you care to throw at it, and as my photo shows, that includes those old and damaged ones stored away in the shoebox.
So, how did I repair and enhance this old and damaged photo? First I cropped the photo, then using the "Retouch" tool, I painstakingly highlighted and repaired the creases and damaged areas (a bit at a time), before using the apps filters to apply a sepia effect and vignette, to give the already aged photo that enhanced aged look. And how long did it take me to do all this? Answer, about 15 minutes, which I think is pretty impressive.
