Add Gels, Filters and Overlays with Geló

Geló from developer Fotosyn hit the App Store today. Priced at £0.69/$0.99/€0.79, this new app easily lets you add coloured gels, shape overlays and gradients to your images.

• Shapes and Overlays: Work with solid colour, strong geometric shapes and gradients in a variety of blend modes to enhance colour or add design impact to your images.
• Gradients: Add atmosphere to skies, shapes pull out sections of images and solid colours make for something a bit different.

Geló lets you….

• Save your favourite settings and tones with a fully customisable 32-colour swatch palette.
• Use pinch, rotate and pan gestures to get the overlay for your image just right.

• Geolocation and EXIF/IPTC metadata.

So what do I think of Geló? In a word, "fantastic". If you're old school like me, then Geló is like having a set of Cokin filters (both solid and gradient), that you can apply to your iPhone photos. Whilst the app won't suit all styles or meet everyones tastes, for the price, it's an app well worth buying.

Here is a sneak peek at a new (yet to be relaxed) app from the developer of Bleach Bypass, that lets you add a wide range of gels, filters and overlays, with varying degrees of control to your iPhone photos.

Whilst no release dates has been set, the app is reaching the final stages of development, so expect to see Geló early next year.
