For the past few weeks, and in my quest to get the best iPhoneography experience I have been using the Griffin Clarify iPhone case which has a built-in close-up lens. I selected this case because there have been times when my photo's have suffered from blurriness due to the distance between the subject and the iPhone's lens being to short. Despite the number of other reviews for this case, I decided to give you my view as an iPhoneographer.
Overall this is a very nice looking case and has a nice feel about it, and to fit, you slide your iPhone in to one half of the case, and then slide on the second part and join together. The only problem I had with this case, was when trying to remove the iPhone, as it is a tight fit.
The lens which is integrated in to the case has a sliding action, which allows you to move the lens out of the way of the iPhone's lens when taking regular photo's. To use the close-up facility of this case, just slide the lens over the iPhone's lens, fire up the camera app, and take your snap. The lens is not a macro lens, but does work very well when taking photo's and your subject is closer than the iPhone's lens is capable of, as the photo's below show.

If you do however need a macro lens, then I would suggest either buying one of the many add-on mobile phone macro lens that you can find on eBay, or opt for one of the many DIY options that can be found on the internet.
