Mujjo adds a touch of Luxury for You and your Touchscreen

Mujjo, the people behind the high quality touchscreen gloves that I previewed last year, have just released a premium leather glove with touchscreen technology. Made of the finest Ethiopian lambskin, the glove has been uniquely designed from the ground up to be touchscreen compatible. The leather is soft, warm and durable like one would expect from excellent leather. Contemporary, balanced and elegant design combined with an unprecedented touchscreen experience make these gloves truly unique. A special treatment makes the leather wind- and waterproof, soil resistant and provides excellent anti-microbial properties.

Design, detail and finish:
The glove has two press studs on the heel to which the leather strap can be fastened depending on wrist size of the user. The leather strap crosses a notch on the wrist boasting a contemporary yet quintessential urban look. The matte finishing of the leather, the sophisticated matte black leather button and a slant line on the heel of the glove contribute to a well balanced minimal but unique look. The design is the result of a careful study into the best way to balance performance, aesthetics and an unrestricted touchscreen experience. Highly skilled European artisans, who guarantee the utmost attention to detail and precision throughout the entire gloves, craft each piece.

The Mujjo leather touchscreen gloves don't come cheap, at a price of €129.95 Euros, but if they are anything like their cheaper knitted cousins, then they will be worth every cent.

Stuff i use: Mujjo touchscreen gloves

At the tail end of last year, I posted news on some touchscreen gloves, from Dutch company Mujjo. These gloves were designed to look good, keep your hands warm in Winter, and yet still let you use your iPhone [or other touch screen device] the way it was intended. Well Tom Canters, the founder of Mujjo sent me a pair of these gloves, and all last Winter I used them exclusively [including the time I helped shoot the Alfa Romeo video on ice], and they really do work, and as a result, they now form part of my Winter kit.

With Winter approaching, Mujjo have just released an updated version of these great gloves, the AW 12-13, with optimised balance of insulation, conductivity, insulation, aesthetics and fit [although in my opinion, there was nothing wrong with the original design].

Priced at €24.95 Euros, these new gloves now come in a range of colours, black, natural grey, sandstone, lavender and coral pink.

Keep shooting this winter with Mujjo touchscreen gloves

One of the problems faced by iPhoneographers that live in colder climates, is how to keep your hands warm whilst shooting with your iPhone. Well, Mujjo may just have the answer with their touchscreen gloves.

These stretchable gloves, made with high-quality silver-coated nylon fibers*, that are knitted into the fabric, offer a nice fit, and they really do work. Whilst they may not keep your hands warm in extreme temperatures, they should be just fine for most of us, and priced at just €24.95 euros, they're not going to break the bank.

*These silver-coated nylon fibers make the gloves conductive and therefore touchscreen compatible.
